If you’re coming from the city centre, head to Njarðargata. This is our downtown rental location. If you’re already staying in the city centre, it can be convenient to take a taxi to us (it shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes). Or you can take buses number 12 or 15.
As it’s less than two kilometres from the city centre, it’s also easy to walk to Njarðargata. From Reykjavík’s “Rainbow Street” (Skólavörðustígur), it shouldn’t take more than half an hour.

When you bring back your vehicle, at any time, it’s really useful if you can do the following:
- Refuel your car. We rent out our vehicles with a full tank and we ask that you return your vehicle with a full tank too. If you don’t, we’ll apply a fuel charge.
- Review the vehicle for any damage. If the vehicle has suffered any knocks or scrapes, it’s important that you let us know.
- Check the vehicle again for any personal belongings. Double-check under the seat, in the boot, and in any storage spaces for your possessions. We can’t be responsible for any lost items.

You’ll need a credit card that’s valid for the entire length of the rental period. Cash and debit cards are not accepted at the time of reservation or rental.
Europcar charge cards and Full Credit vouchers are accepted. Europcar prepaid vouchers are accepted as means of payment of the rental charges, but they must be accompanied by a credit card for the charges which have not been prepaid (such as refuelling charges or excess).
