With Höldur, you have various insurance options, including vehicle and driver protection.

All of our rentals come with Basic Protection as standard. This includes Collision Damage Waiver, Personal Accident Insurance, Theft Protection, and Third Party Loss coverage. The excess is 265,000 ISK for standard cars and 475,000 ISK for larger vehicles, such as 4x4 SUVs and prestige cars.

You can upgrade to our Medium Protection to access Super Collision Damage Waiver as well as Windshield and Glass with Zero Excess protection. The Medium package also reduces your excess to 65,000 ISK for standard cars or 120,000 ISK for larger vehicles.

The Premium Protection covers gravel damage and sand and ash damage. As part of our premium package you can also benefit from zero-excess protection.
