Temporary Changes to Car Rental Services at Keflavík Airport

Important Notice: Construction Work at Keflavík Airport

We want to inform our valued customers that major construction work is currently underway in the arrivals hall at Keflavík Airport. This renovation project will run from February 2 through the end of March 2026 and is aimed at improving the overall experience for travelers.

During this period, the construction will temporarily impact car rental services. Each car rental company will operate with a reduced number of service desks—limited to three—located in temporary units.

To ensure your experience remains as smooth as possible, we’ve outlined the temporary setup below:

• Europcar’s Temporary Facilities: Europcar’s service desks are now conveniently located just outside the terminal building in temporary units.
• Illustration Guide: In the diagram below, the yellow box highlights the area under renovation, while the green box shows the location of Europcar’s temporary units.
